DOMAINE SAINT-GABRIEL

The Laurent Malis wine estate benefits from the very special climate of the dried out Etang de Marseillette. The 4th generation of winegrowers since 1925, this winegrower (who also produces rice on the land) has been part of a wonderful personal venture for over 30 years running the Domaine Saint-Gabriel and the Domaine de l'Isthme. This fertile plain located between the Montagne Noire and the Alaric mountains has been shaped by the retreat of seawater less than 200 years ago, as well as by the omnipresence of water, its freshness and a very special irrigation system. It is the perfect environment for growing delicious, fruity whites, rosés and reds, such as Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Marselan. It is worth noting that all Laurent Malis' vineyards have a HVE 3 (High Environmental Value) certification. 2021 saw the launch of the first organic and gluten-free rice beer, Orizginale.
