CHATEAU TOUR DE RISSAC

Château Tour de Rissac, located in Moussoulens, a few kilometres from Carcassonne, began its activities in 1453 with the seigneury of the Maison des Voisins. The vineyard covers almost 70 hectares in a single block, including 43 hectares of vineyards characterised by flat limestone and 1.5 hectares of truffle oaks. The vineyards, which are primarily based on the Cabardès PDO appellation, cover 40 hectares. When you visit the estate (by appointment), you can enjoy a lovely walk through the vineyards soaking up the terroir, before passing by the treasure of the Cabardès (the truffle oaks) and continuing with a stroll around the farm and a visit to the winery. Your visit will end in style with a tasting of the different wines, which can even be accompanied by a truffle wine and food pairing!
