DOMAINE DES ARCADES

Built up over four generations, Domaine des Arcades is run by Pierre and Nicole Pascarel, who are passionate about cultivating the vineyard's 21 hectares and using their skills and knowledge to create the very best wines. It is located in the Minervois Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée area on clay-limestone soils which form the Balcons de l'Aude, and enjoys a dry, windy Mediterranean climate. This terroir produces some very fine wines. The Domaines des Arcades vineyard, which has been cultivated using sustainable methods since 1989, is planted mainly with Syrah and Grenache grapes. The grapes are destemmed and then temperature-controlled during vinification.
