Michelin-starred chef Franck Putelat opened Portal des Jacobins, a modern brasserie, in summer 2016. The chef and his sous-chef, Tony Béteille, serve traditional bistronomic cuisine prepared with fresh produce: sea and river fish, shellfish, meat, offal and our homemade cassoulet (local hot-pot). The wine list is a treasure trove of local wine including Pays d'OC, Corbières, Minervois and Côtes du Roussillon. The restaurant has a lovely large shady terrace.
