A ‘pedra dreta’ in Occitan is a menhir erected on a small rocky outcrop. This Carcassonne sandstone slab is 2 m wide at the base, 2.20 m high and 0.40 m thick. The right-hand stone has been given a Christian appearance by the addition of an iron cross at the top.
Cursory excavations at the foot of the monument uncovered human bones.
