LE HANGAR BLANC

Born from the rehabilitation of a former industrial hall located in the heart of Carcassonne, just a stone’s throw from the Museum of Fine Arts, the Hangar Blanc covers 800 m² divided between a flexible hall and a courtyard. It offers generous volumes and a rare flexibility in the city center, making it possible to host exhibitions, residencies, and cultural events. Designed as a human-scale white cube, the Hangar Blanc is an open, accessible, and vibrant space, conceived to welcome both monumental works and more intimate formats: performances, workshops, screenings, or conferences. Program includes: • Art and research center: exhibitions, artist residencies, cultural outreach. • Collaborative spaces: shared offices and coworking. • Events: space rental for seminars, conferences, private or public events. • Training: modules focused on cultural and tourism issues, social innovation, and transitions.
