CIRCUIT DECOUVERTE DU VILLAGE

Discover the village of Caunes-Minervois, the ‘Village of Arts and Cultures – Land of Marble’, via the historical trail. Starting from the car park on the Esplanade de l’Europe, the 12 information panels guide you through the historic centre of the village. The numbered route, shown on the village map, is available from the tourist office. For lovers of history, architecture, art, nature and geology… The trail allows you to stroll through the medieval village and its cobbled streets and admire the village’s Renaissance architecture. Along the way: the façades of mansions, wash houses, the Place de la République with its marble fountain, and a walk past the Abbey.
