CHAPELLE NOTRE DAME DU CROS

Located outside of the village, in a peacefull and sunny valley. The origins of the chapel seem to date from the 6th c., when, according to the legend, a sheperdness gave some water from the spring to her sick child who cured miraculously ! Chapels where built and a pilgrimage took place. The actual chapel dates from the XIIth c. and has been restaured during the XV & XVIth c. Inside there is a lot of marble, masses are held everyday. Behind the chapel there are plane trees, the stream, cliffs..it is an ideal place for hiking, climbing, picnics...
