VISITES VIGNERONNES - DOMAINE DES HOMS

From April to the end of August, share a moment of hospitality together with the winemaker during a guided tour of the vineyards, cellar and winemaking facilities at Domaine des Homs in Rieux-Minervois. Here, you can discover the secrets of how organically grown grapes are transformed into wine, and round off your visit with a guided tasting of the estate's wines on the terrace in the shade of the umbrella pines. By reservation only. Minimum of 3- 4 people. A tasting of the estate's olives, a slate of local charcuterie specialities and a slate of cheeses accompanied by Domaine des Homs wines are also available. The duration of this activity is approximately 3 hours. Another way to explore the Domaine des Homs is to enjoy its vineyard walks organised on the Whitsun weekend and the first weekend in September at 10.30 am (booking required), followed by a meal. 8-10 people minimum. The programme includes a visit to the organically-farmed vineyard and the Estagnol Natura 2000 reserve (a sensitive natural area). On your return, enjoy a guided tour of the winery and its winemaking, maturing and bottling facilities... Duration of the activity: 4 hours. The menu includes local specialities: tapas with local charcuterie, wood-fire grilled food, aligot, cassoulet, cheese, fruit and more (depending on the season and the market) accompanied by the estate's wines.
